Life isn’t always easy.

Behind the smiles, busy schedules and social media highlights, many people are carrying battles we never see.

Mental health touches every family, every workplace and every friendship circle.

Sometimes the greatest act of kindness isn’t having all the answers.

Sometimes it’s simply noticing.

Checking in.

Listening.

Showing up.

This year, Social Sessions is dedicated to celebrating the incredible role friendship plays in helping us through life’s hardest moments.

This year all proceeds from the day are donated to the Wakatipu Youth Trust! 

Our 2026 theme, “An Ode to Friendships,” honours the people who sit beside us in the darkness, celebrate us in the light and remind us that we never have to face life’s challenges alone.

More Than a Lunch

Social Sessions was created in 2019 with the sole purpose of shining a light on mental health and raising much needed funds for Queenstown

The main objective for these events are to really give guests an insight for what people are going through and bridge that gap by having courageous guest speakers give their raw and real stories on their journey with mental health whether it be personally or somebody very close to them. 

We have so many great people in our community that need emotional and financial support regardless of the beauty of our surroundings. 

Where :

Ticket Includes - Delicious share plate lunch with a selection of beverages within the ticket price for you to enjoy during the day. 

Guest Speakers, Raffles, Live and Silent Auctions, Goodie Bags, Lucky Door Prizes
